I've just been approved to
do a pilot with live, streaming video and audio/video capture in 108 Cook
this summer. Janet has scheduled my two classes in the room and Patti has
approved the research component. Next, I'll be getting back with Mark and

Re-Start the process of getting
the multimedia stations connected to the network so we can remotely manage,
update, gather information, etc…from the units. This will GREATLY improve our
ability to support the classroom. |

239 Cook is a computer lab with
a wall rack, and the computer video/audio feeds via twister back to the rack.
They've been having some issues with it working lately, plus the RJ-45 jack
is in the floor smack dab in the middle of the walkway. Do you mind if I run
a VGA+audio to replace the cat5? There is a power pole near the workstation
that should have room for the cable. |

Evaluate system
configuration this summer and re-wire/configure as nessesary. Fall 2008: Replace MLS switcher with 5ip, got rid of twister, and added
second computer input at back of lab. Cabling to instructors workstation
still needs to be fixed. |
